Spiritual Awakening
Linda Arandas shares with us her Passion Fruit Prayer Flag.
"I wanted to tell you that my dear friend's daughter is struggling with drug addiction and I intend to give this flag to her, as a reminder that I am praying for her recovery and spiritual awakening.
I chose to paint a Passion Flower--which symbolizes Spiritual Awakening. I used acrylic paint on primed canvas. My intentions were to create a flag to offer hope to people who are struggling with addiction---a prayer for recovery."

recovery
Juliet Ayer writes: "This is the new Prayer Flag for my friend Andy. He has one more week of radiotherapy to go for his prostate cancer, and is having a check-up tomorrow for his non-Hodgkins lymphoma which he is worried about, even though last time the specialist wasn't concerned at all. I know that he's getting a bit down about it all, and want him to keep believing that everything will be fine in the end, and that he will get better."

Health and Recovery
Deborah O'Hare here. These flags are for a good friend of mine who is going through a tough time at the moment. She lives near me, by the sea, and I am hoping that the restorative powers of living by the coast will help her along her path to Health and Recovery.
They were done on a piece of fabric that spoke 'shoreline' to me and was exactly the right size to make two flags.
I am wishing Health and Recovery to anyone that is in need of it.
