The Prayer Flag Project blog is undergoing some changes. After several years in her role as moderator, Deborah O'Hare has decided to step aside and has asked for someone else to take the lead. I can't thank Deborah enough for her commitment to keeping this blog going. Deborah's presence will be sorely missed. It is a labor of love and, as we all know, love, peace, and hope are what this blog is all about.
For the time being, I will be moderating the blog. However, with such a busy schedule, I'm afraid I don't have the time to post more than once a week. My hope is that someone out there who cares about continuing the Prayer Flag Project will be moved to take the helm.
I am looking for a volunteer to continue the project. The time commitment is about an hour a week, probably a bit more in the beginning as you learn the platform, but blogging is easy and fun.
A few other changes: the new email address for sending images of your flags for us to post is:
prayerflagproject@gmail.com.
All emails/requests/posts will be made or scheduled on the weekend.
Thank you to all of the artists around the globe who have kept this blog alive with images of their beautiful flags. I have always believed that we can change the world, one flag at a time.
Best to you,
Vivika

ReplyDeleteThis is such a nice site. I have followed this blog from the very beginning, and while I have never submitted anything, I have made a few flags. This is a good time to thank everyone who has in some way contributed to this blog. MF

ReplyDeleteI am more than happy to act as moderator. I am an active blogger, since 2006, have worked with website domains, and been an active volunteer for other causes. I have been a frequent poster for this site, as well as made a great many prayer flags and taught them (as a volunteer) with groups. My primary blog has a emphasis on prayer flags with two sections donated to the them. www.with-heart-and-hands.com
